This 1963 Jaguar Mark II “has no drive train ,interior , grill . rear window. Has 5 wire wheels in good condition.” All that–and a few deceased rodents–could be yours for the low, low price of $300.
The question is, are you crazy enough to want it?
Just imagine all the good times you can have, pushing this car around in your driveway while making XK6 noises. Vroom!
The five wire wheels ought to be worth something–and there’s probably plenty of other parts here worth saving as well.
But I suspect that only the truly certifiable would see this as anything more than a parts car. (Leaky tanks? Pfft. Fuel delivery will be the least of your problems if you take this one on.)
Sure, it’s fun to look at, and it’s fun to imagine it in its former glory. But if you’re even momentarily entertaining thoughts of restoring something like this–well, you’re far more ambitious than I.
If you can’t think of a better way to blow $350 $300, swing on by the Minneapolis craigslist and begin planning your journey to beautiful Hastings, Minnesota (preferably before the end of your temporary lapse of sanity, and subsequent thoughts of pushing it into the river). Don’t forget to send me some pictures!
